EASY Method to Upgrade Karmic to Ubuntu Studio
First, download the latest iso from ubuntustudio.com. Burn the iso to a dvd (or extract to a USB Drive). Boot up ubuntu, insert the disc or usb drive and a prompt should appear letting you know the system has detected upgrade media. Select "Start Package Manager" Install all packages starting with "ubuntustudio." DONE. Very easy. The terminal method is failing for me.
