Reliance is CDMA network and offers good connectivity all over India. While what is being written is true for Reliance network it should work equally well for other CDMA networks using these phone instruments. This is due to Hotplug wrongly identifying the phone as Handspring Visor device. Edit the file /etc/hotplug/blacklist and add the entry "visor" all by itself in a line at the very end. Next you need to load modules "usbserial" and "cdc_acm" This is achieved by giving following commands:
- modprobe usbserial
- modprobe cdc_acm
Now when you plug in the phone with usb cable it will be recognised at "/dev/ttyACM0" Use this for modem device in your dial up program to connect to internet. B: With LG handset: C: With LG350S WLL phone: D: With Nokia handset: 6. Using "Sleep" rather than "Hibernate":
