Install the wallpaper-tray package. See [InstallingSoftware]. Then run the command:

To make wallpaper-tray run on login, in Gnome:
- System: Preferences: Sessions
- In the Startup Programs tab click New
- Name: Wallpaper Tray
- Command: /usr/bin/wallpaper-tray
