Introduction
VariCAD is a CAD program that opens a variety of CAD/ CAM file formats including Autocad DWG files. VariVAD viewer is re distributable proprietary UbuntuHelp:freeware and VariCAD is UbuntuHelp:proprietary.
Install viewer
Tested on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) and Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon).
- Download the GCC 4.1 debian package on the varicad download page
- Click OK to open the .deb file with gdebi-gtk (normally default in firefox)
- Click "Install Package"
