Plug the 9300 to a USB docking port, and run
lsusb

Using the Nokia 9300 to Send and Recieve SMSs
The Nokia 9300 can be used to send and recieve SMS messages through the phone.
- Install the kmobiletools package - see [InstallingSoftware]
- In KMobiletools, in the Main Settings dialog, in the Device section, set the device to /dev/ttyACM0, and set the port speed to 115200.
- Clicking OK should provide signal and battery information.
- In Main Settings > Mobile Phone, set the Phone Type to "Generic GSM Device" using the "CKPD Dial System", which allows you to check the SMS's in the SIM's memory, and send SMSs.
- When removing the phone from its dock and putting it back, sometimes it will change devices to /dev/ttyACM1.
