In Edubuntu, when the thin clients are trying to get a IP address from the Edubuntu server, they can stop saying: "No IP Address". The reason may be that some Ethernet cable connecting the server and the switch, or the switch and the client, is a bad one. Try connecting with a working cable in order to know if the reason is the bad cable.
