Introduction
JabRef is an open source graphical bibliography reference manager. It uses bibtex as its native file format, which makes it ideal for modifying your LaTeX bibliographies.

Installation
JabRef comes as a Java jar file (available from the JabRef home page), and you need to have Java installed to run it.
Hints and Tips
For convenience, change the default "open with" behavior for jar files:
- Right-click a .jar file and select Properties > Open With > Add > Use a custom command
- Type java -jar into the box.
