Introduction
This page provides links to information about the Internet applications available for Ubuntu. Help on connecting to the Internet and using Internet Applications can be found in the Internet section of the official Ubuntu documentation.
Default Applications
Ubuntu includes the following Internet applications by default.
- Ekiga Softphone - Talk to people over the internet
- Evolution Mail - Read and write emails
- Firefox Web Browser - Browse the World Wide Web
- Pidgin Internet Messenger - Send instant messages over multiple protocols
- Remote Desktop Viewer - Access remote desktops
- Terminal Server Client - Connect to a remote computer
- Transmission Bittorrent Client - Download and share files over BitTorrent
