Keyboard

Touchpad

  • Synaptics Touchpad - Setting up a Synaptics touchpad.
  • To turn off tapping, in Terminal type:
gksudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
  • In xorg.conf, go to:
Section "Input'Device"
Identifier "Synaptics Touchpad"
  • Include these options at the end of this section:
Option "SHM'Config" "on"
Option "Tapping'Off" "1"
Option "Max'Tap'Time" "0"
  • Once you have rebooted, you can also install gsynaptics, which gives a Ubuntu-friendly GUI set-up so you can tweak your settings. Once installed, you'll find it here:
System > Preferences > Touchpad

Tablet

  • See TabletSetup in order to setup your tablet.

Wii remote
