Installation
Install GnomePpp package (gnome-ppp):
sudo apt-get install gnome-ppp
Configuration
Open it in Menu => Internet => Gnome-PPP Huawei E220 may be detected in /dev/ttyUSB0 Type of modem: USB-Modem 3774000 .
- Telephon : TONE
- Telephon number: *99#
- Initialization string : at+cgdcont=1,"IP","Internet"
- Options:
- Desktop integration ACTIVE
- Ignore Terminal strings ACTIVE
- All other options: DEACTIVATED
