BigBlueButton is a complete teleconferencing and desktop sharing server platform that incorporates many open source servers (such as the Nginx webserver, Tomcat Java server, Red5 flash server, Asterisk VOIP server, Xuggler desktop sharing, and many others) in a co-ordinated fashion. It was built using Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 and, for now, an "out-of-the-box" installation works best on this edition of Ubuntu.

Integration with other servers
A functional plugin for Moodle exists. (Also see the Moodle help page for this module.) API plugins for Drupal, Joomla, and other webservers are in active development.
