The Ampache Package is a reality. Ampache currently resides on Launchpad in my personal PPA. One advantage of having a Launchpad PPA is that the Ampache package is now available via apt-get. Introduction

The AmpachePackaging Project was formed to first and for most to get Ampache into the Ubuntu and Debian archives. The project was also developed to create a detailed php web app packaging guide.
