Your system will notify you of when there are updates to be installed.
- Simply search for the icon in the upper right of your screen, by your clock. It will look like this:
- Click on the icon and you will be asked for your password
- You will see the following screen:
- Review the changes, in this case a library is being updated, and then click install. The system will then update the software as shown.
- A very few updates require you restart your machine. In this, a small lightbulb will appear by the clock, as seen here:
