Google Toolbar FIX
Introduction
Google toolbar fails to install on Ubuntu Edgy, below is a quick guide to fix it.
Guide
- Download google toolbar from http://dl.google.com/firefox/google-toolbar-linux.xpi (Save As)
- Open the archive (double-click or Open With “Archive Manager”)
- Drag install.rdf file to desktop and edit (open with gEdit)
- Change linux to linux-gnu_x86-gcc3 then save and exit
- Drag install.rdf back to archive
- Remove all files from the /META-INF/ folder in the archive
- Close archive manager
Looks like the problems fixed!
