I'm sure if you've been googling for a while trying to figure out how to get that weird wireless card working under the latest Ubuntu.. *this* particular bit of documentation was a relief to find.  You say to yourself "OHH *that* is how to make it go!" 
Or not. 
Any hints as to how to get started using the DKMS system for those weird deprecated (linux-restricted-modules) other than the NVIDIA or ATI drivers?  Bored? Try using the acx100 driver as an example:
