Whoever wrote the above, is it true that going the said route will *NOT* remove all of your data?
Either way, it's suggested you "back up your data" but there is no way to do this described on the page.  I suggest the author explains how to back up user data.

psubuntu.com recommend to follow this route (which skips the part about formatting the hard disk):

  1. Go to [Settings] > [System Settings] > [Format Utility].
  2. Choose [Custom] and [Allot 10GB to the Other OS].
