sudo apt-get install wine

Fetch the tahoma font, needed for steam to function: 

wget www.rzs.rs.ba/Fontovi/Tahoma.TTF

Move the font to the wine font directory: 

mv Tahoma.TTF ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts/

Download the Steam installer. Search for SteamInstall.exe on Google, or download it from steampowered.com After the download, go to the download-directory and run this command: 

wine SteamInstall.exe
