Logging in
Q. I have loged out and you can't log back in, since I don't know the password. Using "ubuntu" doesn't seem to work. How may I change or set a password on the LiveCD during use?
A: Open a Terminal session and issue the command:
$ sudo passwd ubuntu
You will be prompted twice for a new password, but you will not be prompted for the old password.

A: Sometimes GUI installation won't give you any error message, which is very important if you want to solve problems during installation. ---
