- Install Ubuntu 9.10 Server
- Update to the most current state in the Ubuntu archive:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
- Update the time on your server using ntpdate
sudo ntpdate ntp.ubuntu.com
- Install the following supporting packages on the server
sudo apt-get install euca2ools openssh-server ntp
