Anchor(Background)Background: An image displayed as the background to the computer's desktop.

Open Source: A reference to any program that is free as in "freedom". The Open Source Initiative defines open source to include not only access to the the source code, but the freedom to modify and redistribute the code. Open Source Definition
This is not the same as free as in "free beer". For example, some Linux distributions are not available free of charge. Open source software is often licensed under the GNU General Public License AKA "Copyleft". See also the Free Software Foundation.

Anchor(Terminal)Terminal: text-based interface where you can input commands directly to the computer. Also known as "CLI" (Command Line Interface). May be either graphical or tty.
