Installing Democracy Player on Dapper
Here are the steps to getting democracy player installed on Dapper:
Only to be used temporarily till such time that the player is added to the ubuntu repositories<

1. Install the libboost-python1.33.1 package using Synaptic or the console<

2. Download the data package and the player package and save them to any location.<

3. Open up a Terminal and change to the directory where you downloaded the two deb files in step 2<

4. Type sudo dpgk -i democracy-data_0.8.5-1ubuntu_all.deb democracyplayer_0.8.5-1ubuntu_i386.deb to install the packages<

5. The democracy player then appears in the Sound & Video menu option in gnome as Democracy TV
