[编辑] Software Defined Radio

This is a radio that provides a digital representaion of a signal to the computer for processing. This is becoming an area of interest with several Amateur Radio groups including AMRAD.

The first is a model of SDR created by Tony Parks and a Yahoo group. The second is software that can be used under Linux for controlling an SDR. FlexRadio is a model being pushed by AMRAD and USRP is an open model which has it's software and hardware design released. I also have a white paper from wipro (http://www.wipro.com) that has more information on SDR's.
