[编辑] APRS
The Automatic Positioning Radio Service (APRS) is an interface between Amateur Radio and GPS (Global Positioning System). It provides communication over a wide area to multiple users. It's design is similar to Packet Radio, except it is one-to-many instead of a one-to-one system. APRS provides geographic location with the data that is being sent. In a crisis, one may need to know location and weather conditions with the message being sent. Locations can be tracked to keep tabs on every member of the response team. Like Packet Radio, TAPR is an excellent source of information and software. [1] WB4APR (APRS.ORG) [2] To see the system in action.
