Edubuntu Recipe Overview
Recipes are one of the ways that the Edubuntu community aims to generate quality Topic Based Help documentation. Individual recipes are documentation pages that touch on a specific topic. These topics are broad and could include:
- technical information pertaining to Edubuntu
- LTSP issues
- installation, usage and maintenance
- use cases (best practices) of describing successful Edubuntu deployments, how they were installed and are configured
- opinions on how to use Edubuntu effectively in a learning environment
- notes on individual Edubuntu software applications
Adding a Recipe
- Check if the Recipe already exists
- Do a search to ensure that the page doesn't already exist.
- Think of a good WikiName for the Recipe. It will be used to create a subpage under this page and the title should reflect its content clearly.
- Create your Recipe page by entering the name here:
NewPage(EdubuntuRecipes/Template, Create Recipe, EdubuntuRecipes)
- Read the instructions and fill in the requested data.
- Contact the team and introduce your Recipe for further discussion.
